Youtube personality Logan Paul has recently been making waves about fighting in the UFC.
UFC President Dana White has no plans for Paul to fight in the promotion and even says he should be arrested if the Youtube star ever does compete in the Octagon.
“That guy would get murdered here,” White told MMA Fighting. “He would get hurt badly. If I ever let him fight in the UFC, I should be arrested.”
Paul has zero MMA experience of any kind, but he has some amateur wrestling experience and has one amateur boxing bout to build on.
White understands that there may be some criticism for some for not letting Paul compete in the Octagon, especially since others like CM Punk have, but White believes Paul would get killed if it were to happen.
“I know everyone is going to say, ‘You let CM Punk fight in the UFC,’” said White. “Look, I have no hate for [Paul]. Look at the business that guy has built on YouTube and the number of pay-per-views they did on YouTube. They did 800,000 [buys] at 10 bucks for two guys that fight fans have never heard of. So he’s built a great business for himself and good for him. But trust me, don’t play around over here. You will get hurt.”
The Youtube star will have other ways to stay busy, as he is expected to box KSI in a rematch sometime in the future.
