There has been no comment from Sandoval or any representative from his office at this time.

White also credits two division UFC champion Daniel Cormier and former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold for calming Nurmagomedov down.

“And he said, if I have to be arrested, then I have to be arrested, but I want my belt put on me.’ And then finally, [Daniel] Cormier and [Luke] Rockhold did a great job of helping contain the situation and get him out of there,” says White.

No punishments have been handed down to Nurmagomedov at this time, but it would be the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) who would be issuing those.
