Dana White Says People Who Disrespect CM Punk Are “F*cking Idiots”

CM Punk competed in the Octagon for a second time at UFC 225, suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Mike Jackson.

The former pro wrestler faced a lot of criticism for the fight, but UFC President Dana White says those people are “f*cking idiots.”

“A lot of people talk sh-t about CM, well, get in there. Come on over,” White said on the MMA Roasted podcast. “Have a fight and fight one of these guys. It’s easy to sit in your living room and talk sh-t. This guy was a huge star in WWE and he came over here and put it all on the line twice, man, in front of the whole world. If people can’t respect that, then they’re a f—king idiot.”

Punk is still winless as a professional MMA fighter, with his other loss coming to Mickey Gall at UFC 203.

White has previously stated that Punk’s time in the UFC has probably come to an end and that the former pro wrestler may not want another fight anyway.

“No. I don’t think he really wants a third chance,” says White.

There is no word yet on what Punk’s MMA future could be, but if the UFC does cut him, it would leave the fighter free to negotiate with whatever promotion the Chicago native chooses.
