Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg have a storied history, and the two have never met.
It looked like that might end when UFC President Dana White made the following statement on the Fox Sports 1 show “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
"I know that Cyborg wants that fight," White said. "Ronda wants that fight, too. Ronda's plan right now is to come back and try to win her title back, and if that happens, the Cyborg fight will definitely happen."
The only hitch to that potential dream match from happening is the fact that Ronda Rousey will apparently have to defeat UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 first, a loss could prevent the dream match from becoming a reality.
However, a Twitter post by Los Angeles Times sports reporter Lance Pugmire states that he may have jumped the gun about the situation.
Never mind to @criscyborg being automatically next for @RondaRousey with a #UFC207 win. @danawhite tells me "no" to that idea.

Dana White would clarify his stance on UFC Tonight, saying that Rousey "would" fight Cyborg -- something he claims she's always been up for.
Rousey will take on Amanda Nunes for the UFC Bantamweight Championship at UFC 207 in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 30.
