The UFC Ultimate Fighter ran for over thirty seasons when you combine all the different incarnations of the reality show. Such fighters as Forrest Griffin, Diego Sanchez, Michael Bisping, Nate Diaz, Ryan Bader, Ross Pearson, Roy Nelson, Court McGee, Tony Ferguson, John Dodson, Michael Chiesa, Kelvin Gastelum, Julianna Pena, Carla Esparza, Kamaru Usman and a ton of other TUF champions made their mark in the UFC after going through the reality program.
TUF: Heavy Hitters was the final season of the reality show right now, with that season coming to an end in late 2018.
UFC President Dana White recently took part in a Reddit AMA and was asked about the return of TUF, which led to the following exchange (via Adam Martin of BJPenn.com):
Reddit user: Is TUF totally dead or is it coming back? I really fucking miss it
Dana White: TUF is coming back SOON.
Although White says that TUF is returning soon, such details as a return date or who?ll be participating in the reality show weren?t revealed at this time. The UFC, since leaving Fox and coming to ESPN, has yet to run any sort of reality show competition on the ESPN family of channels.
