“Not tough at all,” White said at the UFC 229 press conference. “It’s part of the storyline. It is what it is. There’s been other situations where things have happened leading up to a fight and you play the story the way that the story played out.”

The Irishman did strike a plea deal with the state of New York for his action, but could still face civil lawsuits from others affected by the attack.

While McGregor would love to sound off more on the bus attack, some still to be resolved legal matters are forcing the fighter to stay mum on the topic.

“There are many things I can speak on about that incident, and about the lead-up and about my emotions and things like that. But, there are still many ongoing situations involved in it,” McGregor said at the press conference.
