Dana White Wants To Fight The MMA Media

UFC President Dana White has had some contentious relationships in the past with fighters, athletic commissions, manager and so on.

One of White’s biggest allies and enemies have come in the form of the MMA media contingent, as the UFC President has had issues in the past with Ariel Helwani, Loretta Hunt and others.

White, while appearing on ESPN’s Now Or Never, stated that he would like to fight members of the MMA media (via Bloody Elbow):

“Hey, there’s some media guys out there I wanna fight too. You wouldn’t do it, but I get where he’s coming from. It’s tough. I’ve been in the business for a long time now, it’s tough for these guys to sit back and hear these guys criticize them and rip them apart every day.”

No members of the media have stepped up to fight White at this time, leaving the UFC President’s need to fight them unresolved at the moment. Despite some dislike between himself and the MMA media, no physical altercations have ever taken place between the two parties.

The UFC President was just in attendance at the UFC 235 Press Conference and he answered questions from the media, with no physicality taking place at all.
