Daniel Cormier: Conor McGregor Didn't Deserve What Happened In UFC 229 Brawl

MMA

Dana White credited Daniel Cormier for helping get Khabib Nurmagomdeov during the UFC 229 brawl.

But before he was able to get Khabib, all hell broke loose. After submitting Conor McGregor in the fourth round, Nurmagomedov jumped the cage and tried to attack McGregor's trainer Dillon Danis. During the melee, McGregor got into it with members of Khabib's corner and was sucker punched from behind.

Taking to social media, Cormier addressed the brawl and what was going through Khabib's mind at the time.

Three members of Khabib's team were arrested for their role in the incident, but released after McGregor did not press charges. McGregor has yet to comment on the actual brawl, but did give Khabib his due on social media following the fight.
