Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar may appear at the event, but DC has a warning for the WWE star if he decides to hop into the Octagon.

“This time I will advise him to stay out of the octagon, because last time he pushed me across the cage, and I hate that visual,” Cormier told MMA Junkie. “I hate that that’s the visual that’s going to be shown in the lead-up to the fight. This time I will buckle up my heels into the mat, and I will be ready to push him or smack him upside his head.”

Lesnar hopped into the Octagon at UFC 226, briefly getting physical with the newly crowned UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Cormier knows that if Lesnar decides to make history repeat itself, it will all be fine in the end.

“No (it’s not a bad idea), it’s OK,” Cormier said. “We’re fighters. It will be fine.”

UFC 230 takes place on Saturday, November 3 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Daniel Cormier and Derrick Lewis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
