With the coronavirus outbreak affecting the world of boxing, several more entities have postponed shows.
Per the order of the British Boxing Board of Control, all boxing shows in the United Kingdom have been called off, meaning several of Matchroom Boxing and Queensberry Promotions' upcoming events have been postponed. The BBBofC will further review the situation at the start of April.
This means that several fight cards are being rescheduled to a later date. The fight between Lewis Ritson and Miguel Vazquez will now take place on June 27 while the Terri Harper vs. Natasha Jonas fight has been moved to June.
The Queensberry Promotions fight card that would have been headlined by Joe Joyce vs. Daniel Dubois will now take place on July 11 at The O2 in London. The fight between Joyce and Dubois, two of the sport's top unbeaten prospects, will fight for the EBU European Heavyweight title. Other shows, such as Josh Taylor vs. Apinun Khongsong on May 2 and the March 20 Golden Contract show, have been postponed.

Following advice from the Government and the BBBoC relating to COVID-19, Matchroom Boxing have postponed all events scheduled to be taking place in March and April, including David Avanesyan vs. Josh Kelly at The O2 in London on March 28, Lewis Ritson vs. Miguel Vazquez at the Utilita Arena Newcastle on April 4 and Terri Harper vs. Natasha Jonas at the Doncaster Dome on April 24.
Fights scheduled to take place on the Avanesyan vs. Kelly show will be merged into future cards, with ticket refunds for March 28 available at the original point of purchase. Ritson’s clash with Vazquez has been rescheduled to Saturday June 27th, while Harper’s all-British World Title showdown with Jonas has also been rescheduled to June, with a date to be confirmed shortly. Tickets will be valid for these rescheduled dates or refunds will be available from your point of purchase. Further events may also be subject to change.
