Devon Alexander vs. Ivan Redkach Averages 262,000 Viewers On FS1

The viewership numbers and ratings are in for the most recent PBC on FS1 card.

The June 1 PBC card from San Jacinto, California averaged 262,000 viewers and drew a 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good for 117th on cable for the entire day. The card was headlined by a welterweight fight between Devon Alexander and Ivan Redkach. Also on the broadcast was Willie Monroe Jr. winning a 10-round decision against Hugo Centeno Jr.

Redkach scored arguably the biggest win of his career when he stopped Alexander in the sixth round after dropping him three times. The win extended Redkach's win streak to three fights while for Alexander, the loss continues his struggles in the ring as he is now winless in his last three fights. Ever since he lost the IBF welterweight title to Shawn Porter in 2014, Alexander has won just two of his last seven fights with his last victory taking place in 2017.

While the FS1 broadcast didn't have to compete with the NBA Finals, it did have direct competition with the Stanley Cup Finals (which averaged 2.93 million viewers) and the Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. fight that was streamed on DAZN.

PBC's next broadcast will take place on June 23 in Las Vegas. The card, which will be televised on Fox, will be headlined by Jermell Charlo vs. Jorge Cota and also feature Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Julio Ceja in a WBC super bantamweight title eliminator.
