Diego Sanchez competed on the preliminary card of UFC 235, defeating Mickey Gall by second round TKO.
The win, which was the second straight for the UFC Ultimate Fighter 1 alumni, would prove to be quite the painful one in the end.
That is because Sanchez was allegedly eye gouged and bit by Gall during their preliminary card affair.
Sanchez would reveal this information, with photographic evidence, via Instagram:
There has been no comment made by Gall against the accusations levied against him by the longtime UFC veteran. There was also no calls made by the referee during the two round encounter and there was no mention of the illegal activity by the commentary team on fight night. If the referee had noticed the alleged illegal actions by Gall, it could have lead to warnings, point deductions or a DQ loss for the fighter.
