A catchweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 238 as Dillon Danis is competing against Kegan Gennrich.
Bellator MMA President Scott Coker announced the bout through Twitter.
Danis (2-0-0) is undefeated thus far as a professional MMA fighter, having defeated the duo of Kyle Walker and Max Humphrey. Danis has no amateur MMA experience to speak of, but he has a long history as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner. Danis has picked up two victories as a professional MMA fighter and both came by way of first round submission.
Gennrich (2-1-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Gennrich has competed just once in the last four-plus years, which was a victory over Devondrick Bankston at Chosen Few Fighting Championships 17. Gennrich has competed a total of three times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round.
Bellator 238 takes place on Saturday, January 25 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Julia Budd and Cyborg headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
