Dillon Danis comments on his fight against Logan Paul.

Dillon Danis and Logan Paul competed in a boxing match on October 14. "Boxing match" might be a stretch as Danis, a jiu-jitsu champion, stood with his gloves up and landed a whole nine punches in the six rounds. Paul was on his way to winning a decision, but ended up winning by DQ as Dannis tried to turn things into a grappling contest.

Danis appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored and had things to say about the fight.

"It didn't feel like a fight. It felt like he was running away. Every time I tried to engage with him and trade, he would run away," said Danis.

When asked why he only landed nine punches if he was trying to fight, Danis said, "It's because he was running. He was on the back foot the whole time. I was trying to push forward. I wanted to fight, I wanted to clinch."

Asked why he went for a guillotine choke in the closing seconds of the fight, which led to Logan shrugging him to the ground and throwing a punch, Danis commented, "I wasn't trying to. He was smart. He vaselined his head up because he knew I was trying to go for his neck. At that moment, I wasn't, I was trying to grab his head and he shrugged me in the vaseline and he threw that punch and I upkicked him."

Asked about going for a takedown on the legs of Logan during the middle rounds, Danis defended himself by saying, "I was messing around, letting him know what a real fight is. Boxing is not a real fight. It's a half a fight. I want to fight him in a real fight. He shook my hand and said he was going to fight me in MMA."

Danis then said Logan did a poor job at promoting the fight, accused him of being on PEDs, said everything was to his advantage, and said Logan should be a man of his word and fight him in a grappling contest, which they shook on.

When Piers pressed Danis about giving up his purse for the fight, which Danis said he would do if Logan won, Danis said he was thinking of disputing the ruling since Logan threw a punch while he was on the ground, and said they never shook on Danis giving up his purse.

Danis said he made "over a million dollars" from the fight.

Along with talking about the fight against Paul, Danis defended his attacks against Nina Agdal by saying he was just talking about her public history and needed something to sell the fight, and said he would defeat anyone in grappling.

Paul is already on to the next topic as he'll be on Friday's WWE SmackDown to go face-to-face with Rey Mysterio, who he called out after defeating Danis.
