Don Frye isn't one to shy away from giving his opinion, and the subject of Ronda Rousey is no exception.
Frye was recently inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame, and appered Submission Radio, where he talked about the future of former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.
"No, she’s not coming back. She’ll never fight again…She used to be able to draw fans, now she can’t. Everybody’s seen through her” says Frye.
Rousey, who was shockingly knocked out at UFC 193 in November 2015 by Holly Holm, does not have any fights lined up and she has rarely popped up on UFC programming in any way. Frye does have an idea for the first fight that Rousey should take if she does return and in his view, she should be fighting the lone woman to defeat her.
"If she wants to come back, she should do her rematch against Holly Holm. And then if you beat Holly, then you can have a title match. But if you get your ass kicked like that, you don’t deserve a title match” said Frye.
Rumors have recently started popping up saying that Rousey will be challenging current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes for the championship at UFC 207 this December, but nothing has been confirmed as of this writing.
