Punk has stated multiple times that he would be competing again and now it seems like the former wrestler turned fighter is making those words come true.

The winless MMA fighter trains with Coach Duke Roufus at Roufusport in Milwaukee and the coach is saying that his pupil is now in training for his next fight.

Roufus broke the news through an Instagram post:

Although UFC President Dana White has stated that Punk may not fight in the UFC for his next bout, the Chicago native is still under a deal with the promotion.

There is no word at this time as to when Punk’s next fight will happen or who his potential opponent could be.
