Ed Ruth Added To Bellator 168

There is a late addition to this weekends Bellator 168 card it will will be happening in the middleweight division as Ed Ruth takes on Emanuele Palombi. This fight will now complete the five fight main card.

Ruth (1-0-0) made his professional MMA debut just over a month ago at Bellator 163, where he defeated Dustin Collins-Miles by first round TKO. Ruth never did compete as an amateur MMA fighter, but he does have extensive experience as an amateur wrestler. Ruth will also be making his international MMA debut in this fight, as his first fight happened in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Palombi (5-2-0) will be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and this will also be his fifth fight of 2016. Palombi will be entering the fight on a three fight winning streak, defeating Davide Caruso, Leonard Niculae and Tony Zanko. Palombi has also earned his three last victories with first round finishes, two of them came by way of KO/TKO and one of them came by way of submission.

Bellator 168 takes place on Saturday, December 10 from the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy with Joey Beltran and Alessio Sakara headlining, the main card will be airing live on Spike TV.
