Edaurdo Dantas Wants To Become A Two Division Champion

MMA

Eduardo Dantas is the current Bellator MMA Bantamweight Champion, he is also getting ready to avenge a defeat to Joe Warren, but after this fight, Dantas has another goal in mind and that’s to become a double champion in Bellator MMA.

"I’ll show that that loss (to Joe Warren) made me evolve a lot. The true champion is back. After this fight, I want to fly higher. He (featherweight champion Daniel Straus) already defeated my friend Marlon Sandro, so I’d like to fight him right after this fight," Dantas said to MMA Fighting. "It’s a good match-up for me because I like fighting left-handed fighters. He comes forward aggressively, likes to stand and bang. He’s well-rounded, he’s good everywhere, so it has everything to be a great fight."

Dantas will be competing this Friday Night at Bellator 166, where he wants to avenge a loss to the aforementioned Joe Warren.

"That’s my only loss in Bellator, and I couldn’t be more motivated than I am now," said Dantas. "I was the only man to defend the bantamweight title twice. After I lost, no one was able to defend it."

Bellator 166 takes place on Friday, December 2 from the Winstar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Eduardo Dantas and Joe Warren headlining.
