It didn't take long for UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez and for UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor to trade barbs, both when the fight was first announced, and when they met face to face for the first time at the UFC 205 press conference.
One thing that Alvarez was quick to point out was that McGregor seems to gas by the time the second round of his fights were completed.
McGregor recently posted an image on his Instagram page showing his new training methods, something he adopted ahead of UFC 202 and is using again leading into UFC 205.
Once the image was posted on Instagram by the featherweight champion, Alvarez took to his Twitter to comment on his opponent's new training regimen.
McGregor will be looking to become the only fighter in UFC history to hold two titles simultaneously under the UFC banner. Alvarez already made MMA history as he was the first fighter to be a lightweight champion in both the UFC and Bellator MMA.
UFC 205 will be taking place on Saturday, November 12th from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor headlining.
