Eddie Hearn: We're Going To Give Gervonta Davis A Massive Offer

Eddie Hearn is looking to bring in two-time super featherweight champion Gervonta Davis to DAZN and is prepared to make a very big offer to him.

During a recent media scrum, Hearn touched upon wanting to sign Davis. Part of the deal to bring Davis on the streaming platform would be to get Davis to face IBF super featherweight champion Tevin Farmer in a unification bout.

"I'm going to make Gervonta Davis a massive f***ing offer and I might even do on air on Friday. I made two offers to Mayweather Promotions of which they said, 'He's not fighting on DAZN.' But does [Davis] actually know about them? I will make him a public offer and it will be massive," Hearn said.

This isn't the first time that Hearn has made an attempt at trying to bring Davis to DAZN as he was one of the fighters the British promoter wanted to sign last year as Davis was voicing his displeasure at Mayweather Promotions on social media due to inactivity.

The 24-year-old Davis last fought in early February when he knocked out Hugo Ruiz at the end of the first round of their WBA super featherweight title fight. The fight headlined a Showtime-televised card from the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

As for Farmer, he is set to defend his title against Jono Carroll in the main event of a Matchroom Boxing USA card in Philadelphia on March 15. The card, which will also feature a women's lightweight title unification between Katie Taylor and Rose Volante, will be streamed on DAZN. The media scrum can be seen in the video at the top of the page.
