Elias Theodorou picked up a big win at UFC Halifax that capped off a big weekend for Fightful Pro Series contributors and podcasters.
After a slow start, Theodorou picked up the pace and threw unconventional strikes at volume to defeat Cezar Ferreira at UFC's Sunday night event in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You can see Fightful's coverage of the fight, courtesy of David Tees, below.

Round One: The round begins with Theodorou jabbing away at Ferreira, Ferreira attacks Theodorou with a high kick. Theodorou then pops Ferreira with a pair of rights, Ferreira briefly drops Theodorou with a low leg kick. Theodorou charges at Ferreira while throwing combinations, Theodorou then cracks Ferreira with a kick to the midsection. Ferreira starts attacking Theodorou with a few leg kicks, Ferreira then lands a kick to the midsection of Theodorou. Theodorou grabs Ferreira and he holds him against the cage wall, the fighters separate and Theodorou cracks Ferreira with a right. Ferreira cracks Theodorou with a two kick combination, Theodorou comes forward to crack Ferreira with another right. Theodorou cracks Ferreira with some high kicks while eating counter strikes as the round ends.

Round Two: The round begins with Theodorou jabbing away at Ferreira, Theodorou puts Ferreira against the cage wall for a short time to avoid the takedown. Theodorou goes for a flying knee strike and Ferreira counters to score a takedown, Ferreira gets back control as Theodorou stands up. Theodorou shakes Ferreira off of him to get the fight standing, Theodorou holds Ferreira against the cage wall. Ferreira scores another takedown on Theodorou and Theodorou gets back up to his feet, Theodorou cracks Ferreira with a two punch combination. Theodorou puts a slipping Ferreira against the cage wall, Ferreira drops for a guillotine choke and Theodorou escapes to gain top position. Ferreira scrambles to his feet and Theodorou holds him against the cage wall, Ferreira drops for another guillotine choke and Theodorou escapes to gain top position again. Theodorou starts attacking Ferreira with ground and pound, Ferreira scrambles to get the fight standing again. Ferreira backs up Theodorou momentarily while throwing a looping left, Ferreira kicks away at Theodorou as well. Theodorou nails Ferreira with a left as the round ends.

Round Three: The round begins with Ferreira attacking Theodorou with a high kick, Theodorou starts attacking Ferreira with a variety of kicks. Theodorou backs up a kicking Ferreira by throwing a right, Theodorou backs up Ferreira with a three strike combination. Ferreira eats more kicks while looking to score a takedown, Theodorou grabs Ferreira and he holds him against the cage wall. The fighters separate and Theodorou charges at Ferreira while throwing combinations, Ferreira scores a takedown on Theodorou and he gets back control. Theodorou finds a way to stand up and Ferreira drags him back to the ground, Theodorou shakes Ferreira off of him to get the fight standing. Ferreira goes for a takedown and Theodorou controls his head as the round ends.

Theodorou is now 5-1 in his UFC run, not including two additional wins on The Ultimate Fighter Nations. After the fight, Theodorou called out a fan who said that he'd get a tattoo of Elias if mentioned in his post-fight promo.
