A women?s flyweight division bout first reported by MMA Junkie has been added to Bellator 195 as Emily Ducote faces Kristina Williams.
Ducote (6-3-0) is coming off of a bout for the vacant Bellator MMA Women?s Flyweight Title, losing via submission to Ilima-Lei Macfarlane at Bellator 186. Ducote has won four of six in Bellator MMA competition, with notable wins coming over Bruna Vargas and Katy Collins. Ducote has also held both the Xtreme Fight Night Women?s Flyweight Title and the Oklahoma City Fight Night Women?s Flyweight Title, but relinquished both belts upon signing with Bellator MMA.
Williams (1-0-0) made her professional MMA debut late last year at Bellator 185, defeating Heather Hardy by second round TKO. Williams also won her lone amateur MMA bout and that came over Rachel Young at Legacy Fighting Alliance 9. Williams is going to be competing in the state of Oklahoma for a second time, as that is the state where her amateur MMA bout occurred in.
Bellator 195 takes place on Friday, March 2 from the Winstar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Darrion Caldwell and Leandro Higo headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
