Emmanuel Sanchez Injured; Ray Wood Replacing Him At Bellator 166

Emmanuel Sanchez has suffered an injury and has been pulled from his Bellator 166 bout against AJ McKee. Ray Wood has been announced as his replacement.

McKee (5-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career in Bellator MMA, defeating Marcos Bonilla, James Barnes, JT Donaldson, Danilo Belluardo and Cody Walker. McKee is the son of UFC veteran Antonio McKee, he also won seven of eight fights as an amateur MMA fighter. McKee has fought a grand total of five times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those fights have gone past the opening round.

Wood (7-2-0) has won just one of two under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Chris Jones and suffering a defeat to Adam Piccolotti. Wood previously challenged for the New England Fights Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Anthony Morrison at NEF 16. Wood will be competing for the fourth time in 2016, which is the most active that the fighter has been since turning pro in November 2012.

Bellator 166 takes place on Friday, December 2 from the Winstar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Eduardo Dantas and Joe Warren headlining, the main card airs on Spike TV.
