Errol Spence Jr. was involved in a serious car accident and is currently recovering.
The current WBC and IBF welterweight champion was in a rollover crash in the early morning of October 10 in Dallas, per a report from CBS.
According to the report, the vehicle was going at a high rate of speed in the northbound lanes in the 500 block of S. Riverfront Boulevard. The vehicle went over the center median and flipped multiple times, ejecting Spence, who was not wearing a seatbelt. Spence is recovering in the ICU at a hospital and is expected to survive.
PBC sent Fightful the following statement on his condition.
