This card probably isn't on your radar, but Bellator is at the very least applying some names you know on the show.
Bellator's effort on March 29 from the Pechanga Resort & Casino is loaded with familiar names to the brand that longtime Bellator fans will recognize. Former Bellator Champions Daniel Straus and Andrew Koreshkov are both on the evening's show, curiously below two names atop the card who aren't in the title picture.
Saad Awad looks to improve upon his most recent loss to Ben Henderson when he takes on Brandon Girtz. Girtz himself has lost four of his last five fights, which makes the headline spot even more curious.
Other notable names in action include a Fightful featured fighter in Shane Kruchten against the aforementioned Straus. David Rickels is a former Bellator title challenger who has only two losses in this last nine fights, and Joe Schilling continues his MMA path after making the move from kickboxing.
