Jack Hermansson has a deep respect for Glover Teixeira, but he expects Thiago Santos to be too much to handle at UFC Vegas 13.
Hermansson, Johnny Walker and Vicente Luque caught up with Fightful ahead of Saturday's card. All three men acknowledged the challenges Teixeira presents; however, each man sided with Santos.
"Glover, what a fighter. He has been there. Sometimes you talk about experience and what it can do for a fighter. There is no better example than Glover," Hermansson praised. "Is there a smarter fighter than him? I'm not sure, man. He is so smart and his performance against Anthony Smith was just beautiful. Can he make it happen in this one? I'm not sure. Thiago Santos is a powerful dude. I think Santos will probably take this one."
"Thiago Santos if his knee is 100 percent recovered," Walker predicted. "If not, Glover has improved a lot. He is old now... but his last fight was a very great performance. I'm not sure. For me, it's 50-50 because both men are really tough."
"I feel like Thiago Santos is going to win that one," Luque said. "Just for the moment, I feel that he is the younger guy, the hungrier guy at this moment. He had a great fight with Jon Jones. I think he has the skill to go in there, put on the pressure against Glover and get that win. It's still a tough fight, but I believe he will win."
