Fightful.com Pro Series contributor and UFC Fighter Elias Theodorou has dipped his toes into different avenues, and hasn't been shy talking about Conor McGregor doing the same.
With a potential Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather boxing superfight looming overhead, Theodorou said that he doesn't have any issues with athletic commissions saying that they'd license the bout.
"He has experience. He has 20-plus fights as a mixed martial artist. Sure, it's not a boxing fight, but there's a lot more involved than boxing in mixed martial arts. If you want to take a look at martial arts versus boxing, martial arts fights are hard all the way through. I guarantee half the guys Floyd have fought are bums," said Theodorou on the Fightful MMA Podcast.
McGregor and Mayweather have been doing the hokey-pokey in regards to the fight for well over a year, with constant hurdles preventing the fight from happening. McGregor is currently awaiting the birth of his first child.
