Vicente Luque sees one Zombie, not two at UFC Fight Island 6.
Luque, Eddie Alvarez and Andre Fili are among the fighters who shared their predictions with Fightful ahead of Brian Ortega vs. "Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung on Saturday.
"That's a nice fight. It's a hard one to pick," said Luque. "Especially because of the moment. I think Korean Zombie is living the better moment because he is coming off wins. Brian Ortega, you never know, he is a tough guy and can take a lot of punishment. It's going to be two zombies in there. Two guys who can take punishment. The fight is going to go the distance and I think it's going to be Korean Zombie by split decision. It's going to be a close one."
"I'm going to take the Zombie," Alvarez chimed in. "I think he's going to stick it out. I think he has way better striking than Brian. Brian has great jiu-jitsu but he doesn't have good wrestling to get people down. I think the Zombie is a much better athlete."
Fili was less confident than his peers.
"It's going to be a fun fight to watch. They'll probably beat the hell out of each other. I think it really depends on if Ortega decides to use his jiu-jitsu. We've seen fights where he doesn't. He's a competent boxer and he can put hands on people for sure, but Zombie obviously has a chin and he has real power. You saw what he did to Moicano," he explained. "That one is a tough up for me. I'm excited to watch it. I'd love to fight either one of those guys. I have a lot of respect for them."
