Vitor Belfort Calls For Anderson Silva Rematch: "He's A Legend"

Vitor Belfort wants to avenge his loss to Anderson Silva.

Belfort and Silva first met at UFC 126 in February 2011. "The Spider" scored a highlight-reel front kick knockout against "The Phenom". Belfort recently caught up with Fightful and talked about Silva's upcoming retirement fight against Uriah Hall.

"He's a legend and we shared [the cage] one time. We trained before. I think it's great to see he is fighting again. Who knows? Maybe it's not his last fight," Belfort said. "Maybe we throw on a rematch in the future. It would be a good fight. People will like it. Dana [White] would like to put that fight [on] and we'll try to. ONE and UFC together, that would be cool."

Belfort said he is on good terms with UFC and a cross-promotion fight with ONE Championship is something he would love to bridge.

"You guys go to a ONE event. It's like something I've never been to before," he explained. "UFC is a great event, but ONE is different. That's why it's cool. ONE is different."
