Fedor Emelianenko & Ryan Bader Are Betting Favorites In Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix Semi-Finals

This October, a pair of Bellator Heavyweight World Grand Prix semi-final round bouts will take place as Ryan Bader faces Matt Mitrione and Fedor Emelianenko faces Chael Sonnen.

According to MMA Junkie, it is the Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion in Bader who opens up as a favorite over fellow UFC veteran Mitrione. Bader comes in at a -215 favorite, while his grand prix opponent comes in at a +165 underdog for their fight. A bet of $100 on Bader would give the bettor a net profit of $46.51 and the same amount gambled on Mitrione would bring in a $165 net profit.

Emelianenko is also the favorite in the bout again Sonnen, with the legendary heavyweight coming in at a -240 favorite and Sonnen comes in at a +180 favorite. A bet of $100 on Emelianenko would bring in a net profit of $41.67 and a bet of the same amount on the underdog Sonnen would bring in a net profit of $180.

It should be noted that the betting lines could change drastically until fight time.

The winner of both grand prix semi-final bouts will clash sometime in 2019 in the finals, with the winner becoming the Bellator MMA Heavyweight Champion.
