Your fight-size boxing update for September 16:

- Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin appeared in tremendous shape at the weigh-ins yesterday. Both men tipped the scale at 160 pounds, the middleweight limit, eliminating the last hurdle in making the fight for the unified middleweight titles official. Fightful will have complete coverage of the whole card, which starts at 6 p.m. ET. The pay-per-view starts at 8 p.m. ET.

Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler Officially Announced For UFC 303, Will Take Place At Welterweight

- The purses for all pay-per-view fighters on the Canelo vs. GGG card have been revealed. Below are the purses, as announced by the Nevada State Athletic Commission:

  • Canelo Alvarez: $5 million
  • Gennady Golovkin: $3 million
  • Joseph Diaz Jr.: $200,000
  • Diego De La Hoya: $80,000
  • Randy Caballero: $50,000
  • Ryan Martin: $50,000
  • Francisco Rojo: $25,000
  • Rafael Ramos: $15,000

- On other the side of the world, Billy Joe Saunders is set to defend his WBO middleweight title against Willie Monroe Jr. The winner of that fight will be one of the favorites to being the next opponent for the Canelo vs. GGG fight. Fightful will not only provide live coverage of the Saunders vs. Monroe Jr. fight, but also be showing you a live stream of the fight on Fightful at 5:30 p.m. ET.

- Fightful's Carlos Toro and Sean Ross Sapp will have a live podcast after Canelo vs. GGG live on Fightful and on YouTube. The main event is expected to start around 11 p.m. ET.
