* The undercard for the Canelo Alvarez vs. Liam Smith main event pay-per-view card on September 17 has been recently announced with the following matches.

1. Middleweight: Gabriel Rosado (23-9, 13 KO) vs. Willie Monroe Jr. (20-2, 6 KO)

2. Featherweight: Joseph Diaz Jr (21-0, 12 KO) vs. Andrew Cancio (17-3-2, 13 KO)

3. Super Bantamweight: Diego De La Hoya (15-0, 9 KO) vs. Luis Orlando Del Valle (22-2, 16 KO)

* Junior middleweight Chris Pearson (14-1, 10 KO) recently suffered a cut in training and has withdrawn from his fight with Justin DeLoach (15-1, 8 KO) scheduled for September 16 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Domonique Dolton (17-0-1, 9 KO) will step in for Pearson and fight DeLoach in the scheduled 10-round co-feature on the PBC card on Bounce TV (9 p.m. ET). The card is headline by a 10-round junior middleweight match between former world titleholder Ishe Smith (28-8, 12 KO) and Frank Galarza (17-1, 11 KO).

* Petr Petrov and Michael Perez will square off in a lightweight world title elimination bout on September 30 in Indio, California, Golden Boy Promotions recently announced. The Fantasy Springs Resort Casino fight, which will headline on Golden Boy's "Boxeo Estelar" series on Estrella TV, will put the winner in position to become the mandatory challenger for 135-pound world title held by Anthony Crolla (31-4-3, 13 KO) although he is scheduled to defend against former titleholder and Golden Boy fighter Jorge Linares (40-3, 27 KO) on September 24 in Manchester, England.
