Here is your Fight-size boxing update for July 31!
- Former pound-for-pound king Roy Jones Jr. will return to the ring against journeyman "Rockin'" Rodney Moore (38-10-2, 20 KO) on Aug. 13 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Jones' hometown of Pensacola, Florida. Jones turned pro in the city in 1989. The fight will headline the "Island Fights 38" card, an ongoing series that combines boxing matches and MMA bouts on the same show.
- Floyd Mayweather's uncle, who had been missing for the past few days, has been located. Roger Mayweather was last seen around 3 p.m. Saturday in the area of Spring Mountain Road and Valley View Boulevard, less than a mile away from Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas. Authorities say the 55-year-old suffers from several known medical issues and does not have his medication.
- Former junior welterweight titleholder Ruslan Provodnikov (25-5, 18 KO) is still undecided about whether he will continue to fight, but promoter Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions told ESPN.com that he thinks he will fight again. Provodnikov is 3-4 in his last seven fights since 2013.
- Junior lightweights Liam Walsh (20-0, 14 KO) and Andrey Klimov (19-2, 9 KOs) will meet in a junior lightweight world title elimination bout on Oct. 8 at the Harrow Leisure Centre in Harrow, England, promoter Frank Warren announced.
