- Showtime Sports' YouTube channel posted a preview video, which can be seen at the top of the page, for the WBA super featherweight title fight between Gervonta Davis and Abner Mares. The fight will headline a Showtime-televised card from Carson, California on February 9.

- Speaking of Davis, he and rising super featherweight contender Ryan Garcia had a brief exchange on Twitter discussing a potential fight in the future. The tweets can be seen below.

- Two undercard fights have been added to the January 31 boxing card from Alpine, California, completing the tripleheader for the UFC Fight Pass stream. Below is the full lineup of the card to be streamed on UFC Fight Pass:

  • Aston Palicte vs. Jose Martinez: WBO Super Flyweight title final eliminator
  • Edward Vasquez vs. Brandon Cruz
  • Dilan Miranda vs. Daniel Constantino

- Jeremy Cuevas will face Steven Ortiz in a fight featuring undefeated lightweights in the main event of the inaugural Met Philadelphia Boxing Series on February 23.

- Deontay Wilder's younger brother Marsellos will fight on the undercard of the February 23 PBC card from the O2 Arena in London. Marsellos competes as a cruiserweight and has won all three fights in his pro career. Before Marsellos travels to London, he will fight Will Florentino on the undercard of the January 26 boxing card from the Barclays Center.

- MTK Global announced it has signed undefeated WBC International featherweight titleholder Isaac Lowe.
