- Shortly after getting knocked out by Aston Palicte in a WBO super flyweight title eliminator on January 31, Jose Martinez wrote a statement on Facebook in Spanish. Below is the statement, translated to English, thanking those who have supported him throughout the build up to the fight.

It was originally supposed to be a tripleheader but the scheduled televised opener between Abraham Nova and Oluwaseun Joshua Wahab was canceled after Wahab had to withdraw from the bout due to immigration issues entering the U.S. from Ghana.

  • DeAndre Ware: 166 3/4 pounds

Co-Main Event: Lightweight bout (135-pound limit):

  • Thomas Mattice: 134 1/4 pounds
