- Naoya Inoue has landed in Glasgow, Scotland ahead of his World Boxing Super Series bantamweight tournament semifinal matchup against IBF champion Emmanuel Rodriguez. The fight will take place on May 18 and be streamed on DAZN in the United States.

- According to the British Boxing Board of Control, British junior middleweight titleholder Ted Cheeseman will defend his title against Scott Fitzgerald on a boxing card promoted by Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn sometime in September.

- In addition to that announcement, the British Boxing Board of Control stated the following fights will have a purse bid scheduled for June 12:

  • Sunny Edwards vs. Tommy Frank: British super flyweight title
  • Andrew Selby vs. Jay Harris: British flyweight title

- Current BBBofC British super middleweight champion Zach Parker announced that he will fight Steven Crambert on the undercard of the May 18 World Boxing Super Series card at the SSE Hydro in Scotland.
