- Two-time Olympic medalist Nicola Adams has been added to the Lee Selby vs. Josh Warrington IBF featherweight title bout at Ellens Road on May 19. Nathan Gorman, British super lightweight champion Jack Catterall, Danny Wright, Reece Mould and Darren Tetley are reportedly expected to fight on that card.

- Former Olympic bronze medalist and unbeaten middleweight prospect Yamaguchi Falcao is the latest boxer to throw his hat into the Gennady Golovkin sweepstakes after the middleweight champion's May 5 fight against Canelo Alvarez got canceled.

- According to Joseph Parker's promoter David Higgins, Parker's March 31 fight against Anthony Joshua for the unified WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight world titles likely broke the all-time New Zealand pay-per-view buys record.

- Golden Boy Promotions uploaded the 2016 slugfest between Francisco Vargas and Orlando Salido for Vargas' WBC super featherweight world title. The full fight can be seen in the video at the top of the page.

- WBA Oceania bantamweight champion Jason Moloney will defend his title against former WBA super flyweight world champion Kohei Kono on May 19 in Melbourne, Australia.

- As previously reported on Fightful, although Manny Pacquiao's fight against Lucas Matthysse for the WBA "regular" welterweight title for July in Malaysia is a done deal according to Oscar De La Hoya, Pacquiao will likely not have longtime trainer Freddie Roach training by his side. According to Pacquiao's manager Michael Koncz, Pacquiao is strongly considering having Buboy Fernandez, Pacquiao's close friend, be his trainer for the fight.
