  • As fans wait for an official announcement, Javier Mendez has added substance to the rumors of UFC 242 hosting Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Dustin Poirier. The AKA head coach is an integral part of Khabib's team and with a post on Instagram, he said that he's "excited to start camp" for that very fight.
  • Former UFC Lightweight Alex Gorgees has accepted a 16-month suspension from USADA. He failed an in-competition test that was submitted on Dec. 2, 2018, testing positive for metabolites of a pair of banned substances.
  • Five years after his octagon debut, Nick Hein has announced his retirement from MMA. Hein exits the sport with a 14-5 record, bidding farewell on Facebook after being stopped by Frank Camacho at UFC Stockholm.
