Robert Whittaker didn't officially defend his UFC middleweight title at UFC 225, but he got his hand raised in the main event against Yoel Romero. Whittaker survived a third and fifth round onslaught by Romero, managing to stay upright to see the judges scorecards. The judges awarded Whittaker a split decision based on his output in rounds one, two, and four.
Fighters were all over social media during the fight, hanging on every strike.
