It wasn't the spectacular finish that fans wanted by Jon Jones but his UFC Light Heavyweight Title reign continued at UFC 239 as he picked up a split decision victory against Thiago Santos. The challenger was a game opponent, attacking the legs of Jones and making him hesitate with big power punches. However, the diverse striking attack of Jones and a leg injury that left Santos slightly less mobile were too much for the Brazilian to overcome.
