Fighters React To Lyoto Machida Retiring Vitor Belfort With A Crane Kick

MMA

It was déjà vu for Vitor Belfort at UFC 224. The future UFC Hall of Famer suffered his second loss via crane kick in his career. At UFC 126, it was the left foot of Anderson Silva that connected with his chin. On Saturday, it was the left foot of Lyoto Machida. Following the bout, Belfort announced his retirement, leaving his gloves in the cage.

Fighters took to Twitter to give their thoughts on Belfort's loss and give thanks to a man that inspired many.
