One more fight has been added to this month’s UFC Fight Night: Glasgow event as Danny Henry faces Daniel Teymur in a featherweight division bout.
Henry (10-2-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and he is doing so while riding a three fight winning streak. Henry is a former Extreme Fighting Championships Featherweight Champion, defeating Boyd Allen at EFC 44 to win the gold. Henry is going to be competing outside of the EFC auspices for the first time in almost three years, as it was in December of 2014 since his last non-EFC bout.
Teymur (6-0-0) is also going to be making his UFC debut in this fight as well and none of his professional MMA fights have gone past the opening round. Teymur is also undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost four years. Teymur spent the early part of his career in the International Ring Fight Arena promotion, winning all three of his fights there.
UFC Fight Night: Glasgow takes place on Sunday, July 16 from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland with Gunnar Nelson and Santiago Ponzinibbio headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
