Final Two Fights Added To Bellator 170

Next month’s Bellator 170 card is now complete with the addition of two fights, those two fights will see Derek Anderson face Derek Campos and Colleen Schneider face Rebecca Ruth.

Anderson (13-2-0) will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Patricky Freire and Saad Awad. Anderson competed in the final Bellator MMA Lightweight Tournament, losing to Marcin Held in the semi-finals.

Campos (17-6-0) will also be entering this fight riding a two fight winning streak, with his two victories coming over Melvin Guillard and Djamil Chan. Campos is a former King Of The Cage Lightweight Champion, he defeated Joe Condon to win the title in 2012.

Schneider (10-6-0) will be making her Bellator MMA debut in this fight, with her last fight being a loss to Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion Tonya Evinger at Invicta FC 17. Schneider is a former Super Fight League Women’s Bantamweight Champion, she defeated Brenda Gonzalez in 2012 to win the gold.

Ruth (6-2-0) has won one of two fights in Bellator MMA, defeating Lena Ovchynnikova and suffering a defeat to Ilima MacFarlane. Ruth is a former Shamrock FC Women’s Flyweight Champion, she defeated Alice Yauger in 2015 to win the belt.

Bellator 170 takes place on Saturday, January 21 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Chael Sonnen and Tito Ortiz headlining.
