First Women's Boxing Main Event On UFC Fight Pass Set For May

UFC Fight Pass is set to stream another Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions (RJJBP) card, but this one will have a women's fight be the main event. 

Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions announced a card to be streamed on UFC Fight Pass from the Casino Del Sol's outdoor AVA Amphitheater in Tucson, Arizona on May 23. According to the press release sent to Fightful, the main event is Ikram Kerwat facing an opponent to be named later for the WBC International Female lightweight title.

Kerwat has won her last three fights since suffering her only pro loss back in 2016 when she loss to former world champion Ramona Kuehne. Kerwat last fought in February 2018 when she defeated Angel Gladney by unanimous decision.

The fight headlines a four-fight card on UFC Fight Pass that features boxers at different points in their careers from undefeated prospects to world-ranked competitors. In a super featherweight bout, Alfonso Olvera and Carlos Villa will face off in a six-round co-main event. Also on the card is Nicholas Rhoads vs. Eduardo Ayala is a four-round fight between unbeaten middleweight prospects.

In an eight-round bout, Max Ornelas, ranked No. 12 by the WBO at 118 pounds and the current NABA-USA bantamweight titleholder, will take on 30-fight veteran Alex Rangel. Ornelas sports a 12-0-1 pro record and won the NABA-USA title in April 2018 and has won his last four titles.
