Legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is preparing for a potential bout with current UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

When it comes to the subject of UFC President Dana White, the legendary boxer wants him to know just who the boss is.

“It’s about what I say,” Mayweather said to Fight Hype. “It’s whatever I say. I just want to say, Dana White, I was overseas when they told me what you said. I want to say, good work Dana White. Conor McGregor, they said you finally opened your mouth, and you’re back to talking (expletive). I say that’s cool, too. With me, it is what it is. If I can’t do nothing – everybody knows I can fight, if i can’t do nothing else. But when I’m not in the ring, I’m a gentleman. Outside the ring, I’m a gentleman.”

The bout between Mayweather Jr. and McGregor has been rumored for quite some time now.

When it is all said and done though, the boxer doesn’t seem to concerned right now with the fight.

“Like I’ve said before, it is what it is,” Mayweather said. “If it happens, it happens. We’ll just see.”

Mayweather Jr. has been retired for a few years now, while McGregor hasn’t competed since winning the UFC Lightweight Title at UFC 205.
