Flyweight Division Fight Set For UFC Fight Night: Japan

A flyweight division battle is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night: Japan card as Naoki Inoue is going to be in action against Jenel Lausa.

Inoue (11-0-0) has already competed once in the UFC thus far, defeating Carls John De Tomas by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 111. Inoue competed the majority of his professional MMA career in the DEEP promotion, winning seven of his ten fights there by submission. Inoue also went undefeated during is brief stint as an amateur MMA fighter.

Lausa (7-3-0) has won just one of two fights thus far during his UFC tenure, defeating Zhikui Yao and suffering a defeat to Magomed Bibulatov. Lausa is also a former Pacific Xtreme Combat Flyweight Champion, but he gave up the belt when he signed with the UFC. Lausa is competing in Japan for the first time in his professional MMA career, which started in October of 2011.

UFC Fight Night: Japan takes place on Saturday, September 23 from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan with Mauricio Rua and Ovince St. Preux headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
