Fight Nights Global is one of the biggest MMA promotions in the country of Russia and they chose to postpone three straight events due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, just because the shows were postponed doesn’t mean the fighters won’t get taken care off, as FNG promoter Kamil Gadzhiev will pay all the fighters who were set to compete on those three postponed cards.

“Fighters always spend on expenses and gym fees preparing in different places,” Gadzhiev told Tass.ru. “We will contact the teams of fighters and pay compensation. The guys spent time and money, we can’t compensate for the time, but partially we’ll try to support them financially.”

The three events that were postponed were set for April 11, April 17 and April 18, no word has been given yet as to what dates those events will get rescheduled for.

WorldOMeters reports that 13,584 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Russia, while 106 of those folks have passed away due to the virus.
