FS1 To Air Special PBC Card After Danny Garcia vs. Adrian Granados

Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) announced it is airing a number of fights immediately after Danny Garcia and Adrian Granados finish up their fight on April 20.

The special broadcast, titled "PBC Fight Night - Extra," will take place as soon as the PBC on Fox card from Carson, California concludes with a 10:30 p.m. ET start time on Fox Sports 1. Four fights featuring former titleholders and rising prospects have been announced for the event.

The following fights were announced for "PBC Fight Night - Extra:"

  • Jeison Rosario vs. Jorge Cota
  • Alfredo Angulo vs. Juan Cabrera
  • Karlos Balderas vs. Pedro Vicente
  • Omar Juarez vs. Luis Perez Sala

Rosario is unbeaten in his last seven fights and has won his last two fights from inside the distance while Cota sports a 28-2 record and is victorious in his last three fights. Angulo, who is fighting in the co-main event, previously held the interim WBO junior middleweight title, but is currently on a two-fight losing streak, last fighting April 2018.

PBC has aired prelim cards on various Fox platforms, but rarely do they ever air fights after the advertised main event concludes. Past cards in recent months featured major fights that took place before or after the main card and aren't broadcast at all. Examples of such fights are two IBF minimumweight title fights featuring Carlos Licona and an IBF super bantamweight title eliminator between Cesar Juarez and Ryosuke Iwasa.

The Fox card is headlined by Garcia vs. Granados for the WBC Silver welterweight title with the winner potentially being one step closer to challenging for the world title being held by Shawn Porter.
