Steveson has had a career that has spanned multiple forms of combat sports, beginning in the world of amateur wrestling, before transferring over to professional wrestling where he would have a brief run with WWE where he would feature at WrestleMania 38, before having a bout with Baron Corbin at NXT followed by his release from the company. Now, Steveson is a member of the UFC roster and scored his first victory in the company at UFC 329. Additionally, Steveson has also found himself fighting in a boxing ring.
While speaking in an interview with Nina Drama ahead of UFC 329, Gable Steveson would be asked who would do better: Rhea Ripley in MMA or Conor McGregor in WWE. Steveson would keep his answer short and sweet, pointing to the current WWE Women’s Champion.
“Rhea Ripley in MMA. She’s strong. Yeah, she put together. She ready to fight.”
