Gegard Mousasi Tells Doubters To “Suck It”

Former UFC fighter Gegard Mousasi made his Bellator MMA debut at Bellator 185 and earned a decision win over former Bellator MMA Middleweight Champion Alexander Shlemenko.

The fighter faced a lot of criticism after his bout and he wants those doubters to know that they can all “suck it.”

“No, not at all,” Mousasi said on The MMA Hour. “But he punched me right in the eye in the first minute so I was fighting on instinct, trying to survive, I was fighting with one eye for almost three rounds so it didn’t go the way I wanted, but a win is a win. To the haters, they can suck it. I have a pretty long one, they can all get in line and suck it.”

Mousasi may not be done with Shlemenko just yet because the fighter’s agent says they may appeal the loss at Bellator 185.

There is one thing that Mousasi knows will make the fans forget his Bellator debut and this is going to be his next fight.

“If I win my next fight, they’re all going to forget the last one,” Mousasi said. “That’s how the memory of these idiots work. They have short memory. They’re like goldfish or something.”

Although his next fight has yet to be announced, the Bellator 185 commentary team stated during the broadcast that he may be getting a middleweight title shot next.
